A practice paper is only as useful as the review that follows. Sitting papers without marking discipline can rehearse panic rather than skill.

Minimum viable paper review

  1. Time the paper honestly
  2. Mark with the scheme — including method marks
  3. Log every lost mark by category
  4. Schedule re-teaching for concept losses within 48 hours
  5. Re-attempt related questions before the next full paper

Optional evaluation with an educator is most valuable when the student is stuck in recurring method-mark losses or cannot see why answers miss the scheme. It is less useful as a score-chasing ritual without follow-up teaching.
